Conferences

As part of the DFG Research Unit “Antiziganism and Ambivalence in Europe (1850–1950)”, a total of four conferences are being organized, each jointly hosted by two thematically complementary subprojects.

The conferences serve to foster interdisciplinary exchange on key concepts (e.g. the aesthetics of the spectacular) and to connect the findings of the subprojects with expertise from across the Research Unit, focusing on central themes (e.g. the triangulation of antiziganism, anti-Semitism, and colonialism). Each conference will result in a conference volume published by the Research Unit.
