Did you know that EUF was the very first university in Germany to introduce a digital student ID card with UniNow in 2021? - That was a great thing. - Now this ID card is being modernised.
News, info and the student ID in one app!
The campus app for students and employees has been available since 2021. All info about studying, the university and the campus can be conveniently accessed in the UniNow app:
Campus News, research projects, university policies, on conferences and other events at EUF.
Features for better orientation on campus, calendar function, grade overview, the daily menus of the Mensa and last but not least: the digital student ID!
The university communication department, together with ZIMT and AStA as well as the provider UniNow, has launched the campus app. By the way, UniNow GmbH emerged from a computer science student project at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.

The digital student ID card
- The image is optional. A change can only be made after 7 days.
- The ID card can run on 2 devices.
- Changing the student number (i.e. logging in another student on the same device) is possible only after 7 days.
- The card contains an animation.
- The card is available in German and English.
- And of course, the student ID card is still available in paper form.
Note: If you are already using the UniNow app and some of our new features are not automatically displayed, you simply need to update the UniNow app in the App Store/Google Play.
