Laura Jungblut
Laura Jungblut is an Indigenous Studies scholar who received her M.A. in American Studies from Mainz University and graduated from Clark University, MA with a degree in English. She is currently enrolled at Europa Universität Flensburg pursuing her PhD. Her research focus includes Sámi Studies, Critical Whiteness Studies, Indigenous Futurism, trickster literature & methodology and environmental justice & climate fiction. She is part of the Network for Teaching Indigenous Studies in Europe (N-TISE), the German Association for American Studies (GAAS), the Native American and Indigenous Studies Association (NAISA), the Indigenous Literary Studies Association (ILSA) and has spent time at the Centre for Sami Studies (SESAM) at the Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø. Jungblut is based in Cologne and divides her time between academic, creative and editorial work.
