Fachschaftsvertretung / Student Council

Welcome to the Department!

As your "Fachschaftsvertretung" - or FSV for short - we are the current student representatives for the student body of the Department of English and American Studies at EUF.

We are here to help you with any problems or questions you might have regarding your studies and we can mediate between you and your instructors or the SPA.

Additionally, we organize events for you to network and to get to know your classmates and sometimes even your instructors in a casual setting.

In the past, we have had Christmas parties, summer cook-outs, done virtual escape rooms and most recently celebrated our first Guy Fawkes Night in November 2021 and Bloomsday in June 2022.

Elections typically take place towards the end of the Spring semester but if you feel like adding a volunteer job to your resume and helping us out, we would be thrilled to introduce you to our work at any time. The more the merrier and the more fun stuff we can organize for the rest of you.
