  1. Open the official eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool (CAT) in your browser: https://unifl.de/eduroam
  2. Download the installer to your device.
  3. The installer is a Python script, so Python must be installed to run it. It will attempt to install eduroam® using NetworkManager. If your system is not managed by NetworkManager or if the version is too old, a wpa_supplicant configuration file will be created instead.
  4. The installer will create a .cat_installer subdirectory in your home folder and copy the server certificates there.
  5. During installation, you will be asked for your username and password. This information will be saved so that you can connect to the eduroam network automatically and immediately in the future.
