TOEFL iBT®

The TOEFL iBT® is an internet-based English language test. It differs from the TOEFL ITP® in that it is broader in scope, testing listening, writing, reading, and speaking skills. Because of this scope, it is accepted as a language credential in most universities around the world.

Registration and payment is coordinated by ETS, who are the publishers of the TOEFL tests. You can find information about the registration process, payment, preparation options and more by clicking on the buttons below. These will redirect you to the official ETS website.

Where do the tests take place?

In the Helsinki building, room HEL 060 which is also called "Camelot".

Disability & Health-Based Accommodations

Disability and Health-related Needs for the ITP and iBT

If you have a recognized disability or health related need, an accommodation can be granted by Education Testing Services (ETS). The accommodation is not granted by Europa-Universität Flensburg. Unfortunately, ETS requires documentation for an accommodation to be given. If you are planning on taking an ITP test you should contact the Language Center as soon as possible. An ITP given with accommodation can only be given on paper because it requires additional time on the part of the Language Center and ETS for processing and proctoring. More information and required forms can be found in the Guide for Test Takers with Disabilities, here:

If you are seeking an accommodation for the TOEFL iBT, you must contact ETS directly here: https://www.ets.org/disabilities/test-takers/request-accommodations.html

The building is closed on Saturdays!

Participants will be collected by an examiner at the entrance to the Helsinki building.
