Step through our window to the world and immerse yourself in a rich mosaic of traditions, languages, diversity and customs. The DAAD Prize will also be presented. Audimax
Enjoy live music, singing and dancing from around the world! The 2026 DAAD Prize will also be awarded to an international student in recognition of outstanding academic achievement and exceptional civic engagement. Prof. Dr. Anke Waschmann, Vice-President for Teaching and Learning at Europa-Universität Flensburg, will present the award.
The ceremony will take place in the Audimax, Thomas-Fincke-Straße 4, 24943 Flensburg.

The event is organized by the International Center of the Europa-Universität Flensburg, EMERGE, in cooperation with the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. The event is part of the Intercultural Weeks of the City of Flensburg and #Interculturalweeks. Festival of Encounters, Saturday, 07.11.26, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
The festival is the highlight of the Intercultural Weeks in Flensburg. Enjoy a fireworks display of culinary delights, a diverse stage program with singing, dancing, theater, and countless interesting people from different countries. Parents are asked to watch over their children during the festival.
