Invitation for participation in the EMERGE Career Days (with funding): Boosting careers for junior researchers and professionals
The EMERGE Alliances is launching its first Career Days for young researchers in A Coruña (Spain) this June. The Career Days are designed to provide early career researchers with training and counselling opportunities as well as networking events with potential employers to help boost their future careers inside and outside academia.

On-site part: 22-26 June 2026 (Universidade da Coruña, Spain)
Who can join?
→ Master students, PhD candidates and postdocs from the EMERGE partner universities
→ EUF can nominate 4 participants
What is it about?
Early career researchers (master students, PhDs and postdocs) will present their research work, meet potential employers, upgrade their soft skills and receive professional counselling from representatives from the industry sector, civil society, governments and academia.

Participation in the Career Days will be funded by Erasmus+.

Application procedure:
Required documents for Master’s students:
- CV (max. 2 pages), including previously attended further trainings (if applicable)
- Transcript of records (or Bachelor's degree for 1st semester Master's students)
- Proof of matriculation
Required documents for PhD students:
- CV (max. 2 pages), including previously attended further trainings (if applicable)
- Motivation letter (1/2 page)
- Formless letter of support from your supervisor/superior
- Please compile all the required documents in one pdf file.

In section „Mobility type“, please select option “1 = Individual short-term mobility”. - PhD students without employment at EUF:
