Europe Week 2026

European Week 2026 will take place from May 4 to 8 in cooperation with European Future Talks at the invitation of the European Wasatia Graduate School for Peace and Conflict Resolution.

This year's motto “Freedom and Disinformation” will address aspects of (academic) freedom in the face of increasing disinformation through social media and AI.

Call for contributions

The diversity and commitment of our students, lecturers, researchers and TAP staff is what makes the Europe Week programme special!

Do you have a project, an event or creative ideas that deserve special attention during Europe Week? Then contact us at europawoche-PleaseRemoveIncludingDashes-@uni-flensburg.de and we will support you in coordinating your idea.

Preliminary Programme

To coordinate the timing of your contributions during Europe Week - and avoid parallel events as far as possible - please check the programme schedule and reserved time slots in the table below.

As soon as the time for your contribution has been determined, please communicate the time slot to the Europe Week coordinator so that it can appear in the programme for all to see. We are also happy to assist you with room bookings and other matters: europawoche@uni-flensburg.de

Europe Week will host this year's European Future Talks on May 4 (all day) at the invitation of the European Wasatia Graduate School for Peace and Conflict Resolution.

CaNoFF is bringing the exhibition “Standing for Freedom” to EUF during Europe Week. The exhibition uses texts and images to trace the lives of researchers who were forced into exile. It integrates various levels into a whole: the work of Pierre-Jérôme Adjedj (photographer) and Pascale Laborier (author and curator) as well as the PAUSE project.

The ZfL organizes s workshop for university members and (prospective) teachers on the topic of freedom and disinformation.
