History Colloquium I talk by Dr. Sarah Bellows-Blakely on "Sexual Harassment in Higher Education: A History of Institutional Responses at the Berlin Universities, 1960s-Present"

The Department of History is very pleased to invite you to the talk by Dr. Sarah Bellows-Blakely, leader of the Berlin University Alliance research group Fixing the System: Analyses in the Context of the History of Science at the Margherita von Brentano Zentrum, Freie Universität Berlin.
Dr. Bellows-Blakely will be joining us on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 6 PM in HEL 164 to discuss institutional responses—or non-answers—to power abuse and sexual harassment in German universities since the 1960s.
The title of her talk is: Sexual Harassment in Higher Education: A History of Institutional Responses at the Berlin Universities, 1960s-Present
After the colloquium, a dinner with Dr. Bellows-Blakely is planned, anyone interested is most welcome to join.
