CaNoFF I Exhibition (Vernissage) “Standing for Freedom / Poser pour la liberté
From 22 April to 8 May 2026, CaNoFF will host an exhibition entitled “Standing for Freedom / Poser pour la liberté”. Portraits of Researchers in Exile” in the HEL EG building. The opening reception (vernissage) will take place on 22 April at 12:00h with the photographer Pierre-Jérôme Adjedj in attendance and Véronique Charléty a representative of the French Embassy responsible for higher education in Germany.
The exhibition, which is in English and French, focuses on fifteen portraits of scientists who were forced into exile. The exhibition covers a wide range of topics, from the history of scientific asylum to researchers in danger, science in exile and active forms of solidarity.
