GOstralia!-GOmerica! Scholarships
The GOstralia!-GOmerica! organization awards full scholarships, regardless of academic performance, for a semester abroad at Southern Cross University (SCU) in Australia. The scholarships are specifically intended for students who have not secured an exchange spot or who are having difficulty financing a self-funded study abroad program.
Time periods:
- Winter semester 2026/27 (start: July, August, or October)
- Summer semester 2027 (start: March)

World of Students: Scholarship & Webinar
Students planning to spend a semester abroad at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in the USA can apply for partial scholarships this year.
During their stay, scholarship recipients will support the International Student Office by sharing personal experiences, photos, and social media posts.
In addition, World of Students is offering a free series of webinars. These online information sessions provide comprehensive insights into the global university network as well as important financing and funding opportunities for studying abroad.

Internship in the USA in 2026: Apply early
Students who would like to complete an internship in the USA in 2026 should start planning early. Applying early increases the selection of internship positions and makes it easier to organize the required J-1 visa.
AIFS Professional Pathways supports students worldwide with internship placement, J-1 visa applications, and throughout their entire stay.
Application deadlines
- Internship placement + J-1 visa: Apply 4–6 months before the planned start date.
- J-1 visa only (for self-organized internships): Apply 2–3 months before the start date.
