Our Yannik Was Out and About!
At the European Day of Languages (EDL) 2026, Nina Wirtz and Sina Rechenauer won our Yannik photo competition with their creative photo collage, “POV: une journée en la vida of an international Möwe”.
Their collage shows Yannik enjoying a day full of languages, encounters and discoveries – including, of course, a visit to our language learning island, Schnack-Ø!
As their prize, Nina and Sina each received a set of language course books for the autumn semester 2026/27.

The Schnack-Ø is a meeting place for everyone on campus with an interest in languages. It offers free, modern learning resources, a wide variety of language games, and engaging interactive activities. Soon, you'll also find language learning tips scattered across the entire "island"—simply scan the QR codes and discover new ways to learn more effectively!
