Are you a new student with questions about finding housing, classrooms, placement tests and language courses, health insurance, visa matters, childcare or leisure activities in Flensburg? Between mid-August and the beginning of November, you can get support from Campus ENGEL ("Campus Angels") volunteers at Europa-Universität Flensburg.
The Equal Opportunities Working Area is an umbrella group that brings together the activities of the Diversity Officer, Family Services, the Equal Opportunities Office, and the Inclusion Office. The officers and service points in this working area provide information, advice and support on the following topics:
- General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) / Discrimination
- Disability / Dis-Ability
- Diversity / Variety
- Family friendliness / Studying with a child
- Queer / LGBTIN*
- Sexualized discrimination and violence
The student association Studentenwerk Schleswig-Holstein offers free advising on the following topics:
- Psychological counseling
- Student financing
- Exam preparation
- Studying with a disability or chronic illness
- Studying with a child
- Counseling for international students
The service "Student:innenberatung BAföG & Soziales"(StuBS) of the AStA student council at EUF offers free student advising and counseling on the following topics:
- BAföG (student financial aid)
- Psychosocial counseling
- Study and job
- Health handicaps
- Children and pregnancy
- Caregiving for close relatives
