The DFG, for example, funds cooperation in existing projects and has made the application process easier and better accessible for scholars at risk; the Alexander-von-Humboldt Foundation have special research fellowship programmes, and the DAAD has a scholarship programme for students and doctoral candidates at risk. In addition to these scholars-at-risk specific programs, various other stipends and funding opportunities for an own position will be presented.
