Electrical Boxer
The electric boxer works due to the electrostatic attraction and repulsion of charge carriers. A charge is introduced via the brass ball on the top of the toy. As there is no direct connection to the figurine of the boxer, the movement that occurs must be explained by electric influence effects. The boxer's body is made of a polarisable material and an opposite pole to the charge of the brass balls will form in the region of the boxer's head. The boxer's hands and trousers are charged in the opposite polarity to the head region and hence start moving due to the repulsion forces from equal polarity of the charge. This movement decays over time until the top of the toy has discharged again.
