In der Ankündigung heißt es:

Global action on climate change continues to fall short, despite urgent warnings about the catastrophic consequences of inaction. While climate action groups have made significant strides, the political transformations necessary for a sustainable future have yet to materialize. Alarmingly, we are witnessing growing political backlash to climate policies, even as the windows to stay below 1.5°C or 2°C are rapidly closing.

This workshop brings together social movement scholars, behavioural, social, political, and computational scientists with experienced strategists and high-level representatives from climate action groups and NGOs. Together, we aim to address a pressing question: How can we scale up effective climate action in the face of mounting challenges?
