The DGfE Section on Adult Education and the Commission Qualitative Educational and Biographical Research within the DGFE Section on General Educational Science will jointly organize their annual conferences at the Europa-Universität Flensburg. The conference program includes joint keynotes and a joint lecture panel.

Crises and their treatment are a central theme in the intersection of adult education and biographical research. When addressing crisis topics, the focus is on re-construction(s) and difference(s) - not only in the context of the pandemic.

In the context of the Annual Conference 2022, the 50th anniversary of the DGFE Adult Education Section will be celebrated in an anniversary reception on September 15, 2022.
