Covid Regulations
Please note that there is an FFP2 mask mandate in the buildings on campus (N95 masks). Surgical masks are not sufficient, so please kindly bring a few personal N95 masks along for the on-campus parts of the conference. Thank you for your kind understanding.
Conference Venue
Kindly note that our conference venue has changed: our conference will take place on the Europa-Universität Flensburg campus, in building Helsinki, room 160. The address is Auf dem Campus 1b, 24943 Flensburg.
Parking: There is a large parking lot directly adjacent to the building (after pulling on to ‘Auf dem Campus’, turn left directly). Handicapped parking is available.
How to get there by bus: The bus routes 4, 5 and 8 run from the train station to campus, or from the ZOB (central bus station downtown) to campus, routes 5 and 8 run from the train station to campus (click here to view all timetables). For further details, refer to the website of the Flensburg town bus, AktivBus.
Can I get to campus by bike? Is the campus within walking distance from the train station? Theoretically, yes. When you set off from the Flensburg main train station, walk/ride up the hill Munketoft and take the third exit at the roundabout, you will get right to campus. However, please note that our conference venue is on the other side of campus. The estimated walking distance is 30-40 minutes, the estimated distance for cyclists is 20-30 minutes (uphill, to campus) or 10-15 minutes (downhill, to the train station).
Conference Office and Coffee Breaks
Our conference office is right adjacent to the conference room, in HEL 161. During the coffee breaks, we offer coffee, tea, and cookies in HEL 161.
Food and Drink on Campus
- Campus Suite in building Helsinki: open Mo-Fr, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Mensa (Cafeteria): open Mo-Fr, 11:15 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Café Lounge in the Mensa building: open Mo-Thur, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Fr, 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
