1. forms of differentiation and construction of difference in primary school English lessons in the context of inclusion (working title)

The research project is concerned with the (re)production of difference and differentiation at the level of teaching practices. It explores the central question of which forms of differentiation and difference construction are evident in primary school English lessons in the context of inclusion. The aim of the work is to depict a section of social reality and everyday school life and to identify possible points of reflection for teaching practices in inclusive settings (doctoral candidate: Svenja Johannsen, supervisor: Prof. Dr Jürgen Budde).

2. forms of the pedagogical environment and socialisation and their significance for the personality development of junior handball players - a narrative (auto)biographical research (working title)

The research project deals with the topic of the pedagogical support of young professional handball players. The aim of this study is to use narrative (auto)biographical interviews to investigate the extracurricular and non-sporting aspects of the educational environment and the associated influence on the socialisation and personality development of young competitive athletes who currently live or have lived in a sports boarding school or sports academy (doctoral candidate: M.A. Julia Perlinger, supervisor: Prof. Dr. Jürgen Budde).
