Research Academy Education

The Research Academy Education at ZeBUSS supports the strategic goal of the EUF to sustainably promote and further qualify scientists in qualification phases. New and existing ZeBUSS programmes are brought together under one roof. The target group of the programme are doctoral candidates and postdocs of the projects based at ZeBUSS. The programmes are also open to scholarship holders and other ZeBUSS members in qualification phases.

The programmes offered by the Research Academy Education address subject-specific as well as methodological and methodological aspects. The following are realised

• ZeBUSS Winter School: 3-day qualification event on methodological, methodological and interdisciplinary aspects of educational research (annual)
• Event Series consisting of a qualification colloquium (3-4 dates per semester during the lecture period) and a lecture series (3-4 dates per semester during the lecture period). The series of events offers participants the opportunity to discuss specialist lectures, network, present their theses and discuss open questions.
• Workshops on methodological and methodological competences (irregularly as required)
• Peer-to-Peer Events, i.e. Writing and interpretation workshops

The ‘Qualification Programme for early stage researchers (QP)’, launched jointly with ICES, the Research Committee and ZWW, is a further step towards establishing comprehensive support for early career researchers. It offers early stage researchers the opportunity to gain further qualifications in overarching key qualifications in the areas of methodology, self-organisation and self-reflection and also to network with peers across the university and across disciplines.  The QP is part of the ‘Qualification’ module in the programme for the promotion and qualification of early career researchers (FQ-WiN) at the EUF.
