In honor of Hauke Brunkhorst, an international conference will be held on the topic of “Between Legal Revolution and Social Evolution. Socio-historical Narratives of European Societies”.

The conference contributions explore the relationship between social evolution and legal revolution from sociological, political science, historical, and legal perspectives. The social evolution of law and the constitutional interplay between law and politics are key aspects of societal development over the past millennium. The legal analyses presented by the conference papers contribute to a deeper understanding of contemporary social conditions.
