BRIDGE – International Nonprofit EMERGE Summer Internship

Every year, the BRIDGE program offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience in the nonprofit sector abroad during the summer—near an EMERGE partner university.
In 2026, the two-week internships will take place in Ireland and Slovakia.

Internship in Rwanda

The travel agency Gama Travel & Tour Agency offers students a one-month international internship and an academic trip to Rwanda. Participants can choose educational visits to selected locations.

Internship in administration (Madrid)

FEDA Madrid is a vocational school abroad recognized by the German Federal Foreign Office and the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (KMK) and is one of the German schools abroad.

The internship involves tasks in human resources, school projects, and public relations.

Internship as a DaF-Language teacher in Kenya

The German language school in Kenya teaches German as a foreign language to young professionals who want to work in German-speaking countries after completing their studies. The team is looking for interns for 4–12 months who can independently teach German at various levels.

The Association for International and Intercultural Exchange, VIA e.V. for short, arranges stays abroad such as volunteer work and longer or shorter internships for students and graduates. Internship in Bogotá (Colombia)

The German School - Colegio Andino in Bogotá, Colombia offers student teachers the opportunity to complete a practical internship abroad at the school. The internship offers insights into inclusive educational work, the support and promotion of neurodivergent children and intercultural exchange at a German school abroad.

The organization CISV (Children's International Summer Villages) is looking for accompanying persons for international children's and youth camps at home and abroad (Italy, Poland, Norway, Luxembourg, Portugal,...).

The German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania is offering cross-divisional internships and PR internships in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius for a period of 6 months starting in August 2025.
