Excursion to the Lübecker Museen
On 29th May you will have the unique opportunity to meet and interact with staff from various departments of the Lübecker Museen and to explore the manifold career pathways in the world of museums.
Through a number of presentations, discussions, guided tours and excursions you will learn about:
- the different roles and areas of work in museums
- the qualifications required for a career in museums
- the possible job opportunities available in museums
Transport will be provided and we have arranged for a bus to take you to Lübeck and back. We will depart from the campus for Lübeck at 7:30am on the day and bring you back to Flensburg afterwards.
Starting at 10am we will visit the Digitalwerkstatt and the Art Gallery (Kunsthalle) in Lübeck, followed by a dialogue session with the Education and Outreach as well as the Marketing and Publicity departments. After a joint lunch break, we will go on different city walks and learn about the history of Lübeck from various viewpoints. We plan to depart Lübeck at around 5:00pm.
