Vita
Clara completed her bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering and her master's degree in Systems Engineering at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. She has been working in the field of power grid modeling since 2016, initially starting as a student assistant during her studies.
Since April 2020, Clara has continued this work as a research associate at the universities in Flensburg. As the project lead for the joint project reGon, she facilitates the transfer of models and tools developed over many years from research into practical application.
Together with Katharina Esterl, Clara leads the team Netzmodellierung (NeMo), a joint working group of Flensburg University of Applied Sciences and the Europa-Universität Flensburg. Her doctoral research focuses on the optimal deployment of flexibilities across different grid levels.
