Vita

Born in 1980, grew up in North Friesland. Vocational training as a refrigeration engineer in Husum. 

Degree in supply engineering and master's degree in "Technical Management" at Ostfalia (formerly FH Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel). Research assistant at the Institute for Energy-Optimized Systems (Ostfalia) and lecturer for refrigeration technology at Volkswagen Kraftwerk GmbH in Wolfsburg.

Doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) at the TU Clausthal. Energy and environmental engineer for Nestlé Deutschland AG (2008 - 2016), most recently responsible for the four North German plants and Nestlé Erzeugnisse GmbH. Member of the Environmental Committee of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce (2011 - 2016). 

Member of the VDI Technical Committee for Energy and Environmental Management and the VDI 4663 Guidelines Committee (evaluation of energy and material efficiency). 

Appointed Professor of Thermal Energy Technology at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences in April 2016. Teaching and research focus on heat and mass transfer, refrigeration technology, heating and air conditioning technology, energy efficiency of supply systems.

Freelance consulting engineer for energy, environmental and supply engineering
