Vita

Dr. Claus Hartmann has stood for energy in transition for almost two decades. Born a farmer and with a doctorate in industrial engineering, he has impressive experience from various sectors such as industry, science and the energy industry. During his five-year engagement at Daimler AG at the beginning of the millennium, he was able to provide decisive impetus in quality management and thus raise quality to the level of the past. At Stadtwerke Flensburg, he was responsible for multi-million projects such as the construction of the first electrode boiler in Germany and, as a manager, actively contributed to the success of the energy transition and sustainable economic success. Since 2015, Dr. Claus Hartmann has been a lecturer in energy technology and energy management at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. He lives with his wife and three children in Rendsburg on the Kiel Canal.

Since 2020, Dr. Claus Hartmann has been passing on the successful principles of how we can succeed in sustainable change to his enthusiastic audiences at home and abroad in the form of keynotes, workshops and consulting services, accompanying people and companies with energy in transition to truly sustainable success.
