Water Justice and Spatial Planning: Presentation at the Greater Braunschweig Regional Association

On September 8, 2026, the Greater Braunschweig Regional Association, responsible for spatial planning, will host its 3rd Regional Water Forum, titled “Water Extremes—Heat and Drought—Approaches to Climate-Resilient Water Management.”

Since prolonged periods of heat and drought pose major challenges for water management, agriculture, municipalities, and many other stakeholders, it is important to work together to develop solutions for the sustainable and climate-resilient management of water resources. The Regional Water Forum is intended to provide a space for these discussions.

Lia Polotzek will give a short presentation on the topic of “Water-Just Spatial Planning in Times of Climate Crisis.”
