Good Scientific Practice - Handling Research Data
Research data is an essential part of scientific practice. It is one of the foundations on which scientific claims are built and the starting point for further investigations. Therefore, the correct handling of research data represents one of the core responsibilities of researchers.
On one hand, research data manipulation is inadmissible; on the other, many preliminary considerations regarding collection, usage, documentation, storage/archiving, and publishing have to be addressed in research data management (RDM). This workshop gives you an introductory overview of both topics: good and bad practices in handling research data.
