GOstralia!-GOmerica! Scholarships


The GOstralia!-GOmerica! organization awards full, partial, and dormitory scholarships, regardless of grades, for a semester abroad in the winter semester of 2026 or summer semester of 2027 in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and Southeast Asia.

Fulbright Summer Program in the USA 

Fulbright Germany is organizing a fully funded study program in the summer of 2026 that is specifically aimed at bachelor's students in the humanities and social sciences: the Fulbright Summer Study Program "Discover the USA" at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Tropical island school seeks elementary school teacher

The island school on Karimunjawa (Indonesia) is seeking an elementary school teacher for three German-Indonesian children aged 5, 6, and 7. In addition, the Kejora Foundation plans to establish the first grade for the bilingual elementary school in July 2026.

Blue Europe - Alexis de Tocqueville Contest

The independent, non-profit think tank Blue Europe has announced the international “Alexis de Tocqueville” competition for 2025-2026. The competition honors the work of French political thinker Alexis de Tocqueville and is aimed at students and young researchers.

Bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students from the EU are eligible to participate. Academic papers on the relationships between European regions, with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe, can be submitted.

When?

  • Abstract submission deadline: March 31, 2026
  • Full paper submission deadline: June 30, 2026

Registration is by email with a 250-500 word abstract and a preliminary title. Once the topic has been accepted, the official registration link will be sent.
