Dr.Søren Tinning

Dr. Søren Tinning’s research focuses on cross-border collaboration related to climate change mitigation and adaptation, especially in the Danish-German border region. A Danish citizen, he took his PhD at the University of Turin before working at the University of Aarhus, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and the University of Southern Denmark. As a postdoc with ClimatePol, Søren Tinning will be mapping governance structures, stakeholder compositions and additional framework conditions for climate adaptation in the project region (Subgoal 3). He will also be part of integrating results from the other subgoals by, among other things, developing a best practice policy handbook on climate adaptation and by articulating a proposal for a more solid institutional infrastructures for future cross-border collaboration on the topic (Subgoal 6).
