Going abroad is recommended for all students of English. Indeed, for students who have started their M.Ed. in English from the Fall term 2025/26 on, spending three months in an English-speaking country before the end of their M.Ed. will be mandatory. It is therefore a good idea to think about your options early, preferably at an early stage of your B.A., so you can make plans. This is the purpose of this Q&A, directed at B.A. students in their second or fourth semesters, but also at any other students of English who are interested in their options for going abroad. You will hear all about our regulations, about places you can go and things you can do there, and also about ways of financing this.
