What is the Plurilingual Language Policy (PLP)?

The Plurilingual Language Policy (PLP) is EMERGE's strategic document containing recommendations for promoting multilingualism within the Alliance.

EMERGE brings together people from across Europe who speak different languages. The PLP aims to strike a balanced equilibrium – between English as the central language of international communication and the many national and regional languages within the Alliance. It identifies ways in which these languages can remain visible and, where possible, be actively promoted. A particular focus is placed on regional and minority languages.
