EMERGE – Community Engagement
Community Engagement strengthens collaboration between universities and society. Students, staff and local stakeholders work together on issues that matter to their everyday lives. The aim is to create an open exchange in which everyone is heard and can actively contribute.
What concrete added value does community engagement offer – and for whom?
- For students: practical experience, new skills, and recognition of their engagement
- For staff and researchers: new methods and stronger societal impact
- For universities: deeper integration into society and sustainable collaboration
- For local stakeholders: meaningful participation, access to knowledge and resources
