In our department, we deal with the further development of individual and group-related support for children and adolescents with impairments in emotional and social development and the professionalization of teachers and specialists in school and out-of-school settings.
Research shows that targeted promotion of social-emotional skills leads to positive effects on a social-emotional and academic level. This sustainably supports educational success at school. Teachers and educational professionals need extensive skills to systematically support children and adolescents and reduce emotional behavioral problems.
