Kalender des ICES

The Irish Studies & Cultural Theory Summer School (co-organised by the EUF and Vienna Centres for Iris Studies) will take place from July 14-18, 2025 in Vienna!
 

Last year, the summer school took place in Flensburg with the theme "Irish Cultures in Contact" and we are pleased to be offering it again, this time in Vienna, with the theme “A Sense of Place.” Lectures and Seminars will bring in ideas of geography, landscape, canonicity, sustainability and transformation studies, aesthetics/the senses, cinematography, postcolonialism and belonging, history, politics, culture, literature, etc. 
 

The summer school is accredited according to the ECTS System (please speak with your programme coordinator regarding compatibility). More information about this, the speakers, the theme, and registration information can be found in the infosheet below.
