Further strengthening collaboration

The European Wasatia Graduate School of Peace and Conflict Resolution at EUF and the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at EPOKA University have been collaborating in the area of doctoral studies for nearly ten years. We look forward to connecting scholars and students through research, academic exchange, and intercultural dialogue. Jointly supervised doctorates hold promise for the next generation of researchers,” explains Dr. Isa Erbas, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences.

More opportunities for doctoral students

The MoU provides the framework for expanding the partnership in the areas of doctoral studies, research collaborations, academic mobility, scholarly exchange, and joint academic initiatives between EPOKA University’s Faculty of Law and Social Sciences and the European Wasatia Graduate School, including the development of jointly supervised doctoral projects.

Dr. Zaineh Barakat, Manager of the European Wasatia Graduate School, is delighted about the opportunities the agreement offers for doctoral projects and the international academic network: “This agreement gives new momentum to a partnership that has already connected doctoral researchers and researchers from our institutions. It strengthens our commitment to academic exchange and opens up new opportunities for joint research, dialogue, and the advancement of future generations of researchers.”

Interdisciplinary colloquium provides a forum for exchange

In addition to the signing ceremony, a lecture as part of the Interdisciplinary Colloquium series provided a forum for exchange among academics from both organizations. Dr. Reina Zenelaj’s lecture focused on the culture of remembrance, religion, and political culture in Albania. The event enabled the exchange of diverse perspectives and insights.
