Hauke Brunkhorst is a Professor of Sociology at the European-University Flensburg, Germany. His research fields are social evolution, sociology of constitutions, legal and political theory. During the 2009-2010 academic year, he was the Theodor Heuss Professor at the New School for Social Research, New York.
