We are pleased to welcome Yasir Safa Doğancil and Polina Murygina as our new team members at the European University Flensburg. They joined the project as student assistants on 1 June 2022 and will support the team with data preparation, media data collection and data analysis.

Yasir Safa Doğancil is a graduate student at the European Studies Program at the Europa-Universität Flensburg. He graduated from Ankara University with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations. He is interested in EU integration, EU-Turkey relations, historical sociology of IR, and Trotsky's uneven and combined development theory. 

Polina Murygina is also graduate student at the European Studies Program at the Europa-Universität Flensburg. She obtained Bachelor and Master degrees in Law (Civil and administrative proceedings) at the Moscow State University. Her research interests include EU integration, sanction policy (EU-Russia sanction war, in particular) and human rights protection.
