Website Launch of the Project “Circular Use of Living Space”
The interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary joint project Circular Use of Living Space: Municipal Strategies, Success Factors, and Effects (ZiWoNu) now has its own website. The new site provides information about the project’s objectives, approach, and partners. The initiative addresses challenges related to housing allocation, life-phase-oriented housing adjustments, and the ecological relief potential of more efficient housing use.
A central component is the real-world laboratory in the municipality of Neuenhagen near Berlin, where structural, organizational, and communicative approaches to circular housing use are being tested. The project is led by Jonas Lage and is academically supported by Mareike Andert as part of the project team at the NEC. The aim is to make the findings accessible to municipal stakeholders and to investigate barriers to residential mobility, particularly in the empty-nest phase.
