As part of the “Building & Living” Platform symposium, Jonas Lage and Mareike Andert will present the collaborative research project “Circular Housing Use”, their specific research questions, and the current status of implementing circular housing use approaches in the real-world laboratory in Neuenhagen near Berlin.

On October 1, 2026, as part of the symposium for the project “Building and Housing: Platform for Networking, Synthesis, and Transfer” at Data Space in Berlin, selected solutions and courses of action for more affordable housing—developed by experts over the course of the project—will be presented. Speakers will contextualize the project’s findings, share their perspectives from the worlds of business, academia, and politics, and discuss how to advance affordability, sustainability, and the quality of housing and life in homes and neighborhoods.

With this event, the project participants are reaching out to experts from academia, business, and civil society, as well as to representatives from politics and public administration.

The event will take place on October 1, 2026, at Data Space in Berlin.
