Calendar of ICES

Together with ZeBUSS and CREST, ICES is organising a proposal workshop for DFG proposals for research grants.

DFG grants are the most popular open-topic funding format for basic research in Germany. The proposal workshop is aimed at postdocs and professors with the aim of preparing a DFG proposal in the course of the semester. The participants meet every 3 to 4 weeks for 1.5 hours via Webex and form interdisciplinary or subject-specific groups of 2 to 3 people. In each session, one or more chapters of the proposal template are discussed, including a peer discussion of the participants' proposal sections, followed by a short input for the next session.
