This trinational Bachelor Plus Program brings together three countries, three degrees, and three languages.

One cultural area, three countries; one degree program, three languages; one certificate, three degrees: The Bachelor Plus Transcultural European Studies: Languages, Cultures, Interactions (TES) is a wholly European degree program. Its thematic focus: the cultures that make up what we call Europe. Its approach: interdisciplinary and trinational. You will explore language, culture, literature, and media studies at Europa-Universität Flensburg (EUF) in Germany, the Université de Strasbourg (Unistra) in France, and the Universidad de Málaga (UMA) in Spain. Its added value lies in an intense European experience through combined studies in three countries, certified multilingualism, and a degree that’s jointly awarded by these European countries.

Here’s how the program works:

Europe’s cultural and linguistic diversity is the heart of this program. Classes are taught in German, French, and Spanish. At all three university locations, you’ll also take foreign language courses in the languages of the partner universities, including English. This will prepare you theoretically, practically, and methodically engage with European cultural issues in intercultural contexts – in all four languages. These include German, French, Spanish, and English. The program also includes extensive practical components to help you identify a suitable career field.

What makes the program special:

  • Focused on the study of European cultures in European context at universities in Germany, France and Spain
  • International
  • Multilingual
  • Interdisciplinary
  • Joint B.A. degree (degree in three countries)
  • Close integration of theory and career-oriented practice
