Kalender des International Centers

Should people be allowed to choose different religious holiday calendars at their workplace or follow that of the country they work in? The AStA Referat for political education invites those interested to debate this question. The attendees will receive a set position to represent and discuss the topic with the goal of coming up with a final resolution. Following the debate there will be free non-alcoholic drinks and snacks.

Note: Depending on the number of applicants there will be different dates for German and English speaking attendees.

AStA: Der Allgemeine Studierendenausschuss, auch Allgemeine Student*innenausschuss^[ oder Allgemeine Studentenausschuss ist in den Hochschulen der meisten deutschen Bundesländer das geschäftsführende (exekutive) und mit der Außenvertretung betraute Organ der (verfassten) Studierendenschaft. Er stellt die studentische "Regierung" oder auch die eigentliche Studierendenvertretung im engeren Sinne dar. Der AStA wird in der Regel vom Studierendenparlament gewählt und besteht aus einem oder mehreren Vorsitzenden sowie einer Reihe von Referenten für verschiedene Aufgabengebiete.
