The Economics of Innovation

Guest lecture by Dr. Ian Jackson, Enterprise Reader at Staffordshire University (Research Gate profile).

The presentation extends the analysis of innovation beyond mainstream microeconomic principles and evaluates the importance of an interdisciplinary and applied approach.  In particular, the role of history, philosophy and psychology will be combined with the economics of the real world to evaluate how innovation is potentially achieved through clusters, networks and cooperation.
