Guest Lecture series: Diversity in a changing Europe

This time Mr. Benjamin Zeeb Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of the Project for Democratic Union will join us for a lecture and a discussion session.

After the first two successful lectures and a semester break, the ECMI and MA European Studies are pleased to invite you to the next round of the lecture series at the Europa-Universität Flensburg. This time Mr. Benjamin Zeeb will join us for a lecture and a discussion session on "Diversity in a changing Europe: challenge or opportunity?". Mr Zeeb is a Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of the Project for Democratic Union and the co-author of the book "Europa am Abgrund: Plädoyer für die Vereinigten Staaten von Europa" (Simms; Zeeb 2016)

The lectures are organized in cooperation with the European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI) and host prominent scholars and experts from different European institutions. The lecture series offers a unique chance to the students of the Europa-Universität Flensburg to discuss the issue of diversity, and its challenges and opportunities in the EU, together with the invited guests. The overall aim of the lecture series is to integrate the EUF and its students in a European discourse on the topic, contributing to the overall Europeanization and internationalization of the study programmes. The previous sessions hosted scholars within the area of minority rights and social inclusion, while the second semester will host experts on Europeanization and EU.

Please join us for the lecture Wednesday, 15 June 2016 at 16:00-18:00 in Room HG 239 (Main Building) of the Europa-Universität Flensburg.

All students and staff members of the Europa-Universität Flensburg are cordially invited to join the events. For external visitors: please sign up for the lecture at bulia@ecmi.de.
