"The Committee of the Regions of the EU: Politics and Practice"

The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) represents the interests of regions and cities in the European Union. Representatives from local and regional authorities across the European Union advise on new laws that have an impact on regions and cities, about 70% of all EU legislation. Antje Grotheer, Vice-President of Bremen State Parliament and member of the German delegation to the 329  member CoR assembly, will explain the work of CoR and shed light on its politics.

The lecture and the Q&A will be held in English.  Afterwards, there will be an informal get-together with refreshing beverages.
