One of our central services is interdisciplinary consulting. This includes general information on the topic of research data (management) as well as a needs-based look at project-specific applications and finding solutions for individual RDM requirements.

Data management plan
Data management plans have become a standard prerequisite with many third-party funding agencies. But even without these external constraints it is worth looking at a project through the lense of the data that is created and has to be managed. A DMP functions as a guideline for the joint work on data management and the improvement of data-based processes.
Together we develop and revise your DMP and address the whereabouts of your data throughout the project life cycle. Our main focus always lies with your individual disciplinary requirements.
Publication & archiving
Choosing the right research data repository depends on several factors:

- Peer visibility
- Requirements of funding bodies and cooperators
- Special requirements regarding data security and protection

In addition to well knows generic repositories such as Zenodo there is a large selection of national and international subject-specific data centers and repositories. Platforms such as re3data and RIsources provide and overview.
Data protection
Protecting sensible data mid and post project is a primary concern. Together with our data protection officer and Center for Information and Media Technologies (ZIMT) we will discuss measures to comply to GDPR/DSGVO in your research project and put them into practice.

Lectures
