Europe Week 2024

Europe Week 2024 will take place from May 14-16 under the motto "European Elections in Times of War". In the run-up to the European elections in June 2024 and in the face of current global military conflicts, it not only offers us the opportunity to devote special attention to the topic of Europe, but it also provides a special space and time to display our Europe-related project results, competences, actions and ideas at EUF.

Contributions wanted

The diversity and commitment of our students, lecturers, researchers and TAP staff is what makes the Europe Week programme special!

Do you have a project, an event or creative ideas that deserve special attention during Europe Week? Then contact us at europawoche@uni-flensburg.de and we will support you in coordinating your idea.

Preliminary Programme

To coordinate the timing of your contributions during Europe Week - and avoid parallel events as far as possible - please check the programme schedule and reserved time slots in the table below.

As soon as the time for your contribution has been determined, please communicate the time slot to the Europe Week coordinator so that it can appear in the programme for all to see. We are also happy to assist you with room bookings and other matters: europawoche@uni-flensburg.de

European Project Poster Walk

Europa-Universität Flensburg is home to numerous and diverse Europe-related (research) projects, cooperations and initiatives. The European Project Poster Walk of this year's Europe Wee will allow us to increase the visibility of these activities and to enable all members of the university to exchange ideas and information about the projects, cooperations and initiatives.

If you would you like to take part in the poster walk with your project, cooperation or initiative, don't hesitate to contact us at europawoche@uni-flensburg.de!

All posters will be exhibited in the foyer of the Helsinki building from May 14 - 16, 2024.

Two poster walk sessions on Tuesday and Thursday (May 14+16, 1-2pm) will allow everyone to gain information about the projects and exchange ideas with the respective representatives of the projects and collaborations.

We are happy to offer support with the creation of your poster. Please send us the following information by e-mail (europawoche-PleaseRemoveIncludingDashes-@uni-flensburg.de) by April 22, 2024 at the latest:
Project name, project coordinator & staff, partners, funding institution (if applicable), project duration, brief summary, images/logos/etc., link to website

If you would like to design a poster yourself, we will be happy to provide you with a template in the Europe Week design from the beginning of March.

All posters are printed in A1 size and centrally coordinated. Printing costs can be covered by the Europe Week budget.
