Annual ICES Meeting of Members

Dear ICES members,

We are pleased to invite you to our Annual ICES Meeting of Members on December 10 at 5:00 pm.

The meeting will be an opportunity to look back on ICES projects and activities in 2026, share ideas and discuss future plans. We will take the opportunity to celebrate our members who have successfully completed their doctorates this year. Following the meeting, we warmly invite you to join us for our Christmas reception to celebrate the end of the year together in a relaxed atmosphere with drinks and cookies.

It is also time to elect the ICES Board of Directors again. The board advises and decides in all matters of ICES and thus contributes to further strengthening European Studies at EUF. Those who are interested in participating in the strategic orientation, operational implementation and establishment of a unique ICES research profile are hereby invited to stand for election. The board of directors consists of at least three and up to five full-time professors and at least one and a maximum of two academic staff members. The Board of Directors is elected for 2 years. Re-election is possible. If you would like to be nominated, please contact Maria Schwab (maria.schwab@uni-flensburg.de, -2499) and send a short description of yourself and your research interests, as well as a short explanation why and how you would like to contribute to advancing European Studies at the EUF as part of the ICES Board of Directors (max. ½ page) until 01.12.2026.

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, in English and/or German.
